Employee/Employer Group Insurance
IEC offers group insurance to its members and their employers. Health, Life, Disability and Dental plans are available.
Health:
Medical insurance is offered to IEC through Anthem. For information on the spectrum of services available contact IEC Agent of Record, David Thornton, Greater Lexington Insurance Agency.
Life and Short Term Disability:
The life and disability plan is a combined program with one premium cost from Principal Financial Group. This plan offers $10,000 coverage for life and a comprehensive short term disability plan that offers several payment options depending on the injury. Dental and Vision Care:
The IEC dental plan is a "managed care" plan offering comprehensive benefits through a network of plan dentists offered by Assurant. It also includes an excellent vision care program. This vision plan includes discounts on eye exams, eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other prescription eyewear when provided by participating providers.
